To initiate, facilitate, coordinate, catalyse and implement an integrated rural/urban development programme for vibrant, equitable and sustainable rural communities.

To make a qualitative workable difference in the lives of those living in the rural areas, especially the under privileged, through holistic education which should enable them to be employed or self- employed

To provide technical, vocational and agro-based training services to rural communities that develops and sustains critical infrastructure and promotes economic opportunity.

To improve the social, economic spiritual and political well-being of rural society; especially poor and vulnerable people; through the provision of basic services and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
